Outfits Not Just Clothes

As the bits of scattered leaves in these pics indicate fall is here friends! Autumn is such a rich sartorial season what with prints, textures, and layers. Embrace the end of the workweek and the laid back vibes of summer in short form. For this week I went with a tropical theme in these drawstring men's shorts from Forever21 . Yep these are boy shorts! If you're a fan of novelty prints and/or quirky style, then I highly recommend checking out the men's section, especially for drawstring shorts. The patterns are just (if not more) dynamic, they are comfortable, have pockets, and come in longer lengths. Too often, from my experience, women's patterned shorts can be quite short and ride up in uncomfortable and unflattering ways. With two little ones it's hard to find the time to capture the sartorial moments, let alone edit and post them.  So here we are with some mid-winter hygge style thanks to this fair-isle sweater from Saks off Fifth and easy pull-on pants from Banana Republic Factory .  This OOTD is a more casual-day-of-work office outfit, what with the loafers and plaid coat.
