Outfits Not Just Clothes

Last weekend I was in Philadelphia and had a chance to check out the Magic Gardens, which I was turned onto by a post from Tick Tock Vintage who has a way better camera than mine, but I still think I got some pretty good shots. There are so many details to notice, pictures, textures, and text. The scale of this whole area is impressive.  Taking it all in you are just blown away. The owl freaked me out a bit. This reminds me of an ancient ruin. No spectacular outfit for this adventure.  There was no way I could even attempt to dress as interesting as the venue, so I decided to just keep warm.  You can check out the Magic Gardens here  and learn more about the artist and the project.

I hate to admit, but I throw like a girl. striped shirt- StyleMint , flannel shirt-Urbanoutfitters(similar here ), jeans-Asos(similar here ), scarf-Ralph Lauren(similar here ), boots-LL Bean(similar here ), hat- Jcrew , ring- JewelMint , bracelet- Cookie Lee c/o Debra Reed So for my weekend adventure in Philadelphia I went fairly basic with jeans, flannel and boots.  I did mix up patterns here with the stripes and plaid.  By adding a scarf and some jewelry I've pushed this from being just clothes into an outfit. Also, the fit of these jeans are just perfect for walking around all day. Ideally I would have worn cuter shoes, but the snow makes bootweears out of all of us.   Be on the look out for pics of the Magic Gardens later this week....
