Floral Skirts & Cowboy Boots

On this Good Friday in the year of our Lord 2025 when "dumpster fire" is an understatement I took a moment to pose under a bridge in front of some graffiti in the floral skirt/cowboy boot combo, last seen in this post .   jacket--Vintage(similar here ) turtleneck--J.Crew( here ), skirt/belt--Amazon(similar here and here ), boots-- DSW , jewelry--J.Crew Factory(similar here ), Etsy (more options  here ), Nordstrom( here ), watch--Monroe( here ), bag--Shiraleah(more options here ) I've labeled this jacket as "vintage" since I've had it since 2011 (!!!) as seen in this post  and paired it with a tone-on-tone turtle for a chilly spring day. Loving how these olive greens coordinate with the skirt. And even though this looks is similar in elements to the March post (same skirt, boots, and a different turtleneck) I think this is it's own distinctive look, being a bit harder and more utilitarian.  Stay safe out there and if you're celebrating this weekend, ...

Chic Shorts Friday

top / shorts / necklace - Le Tote , sunnies- DIFF Eyewear , wedges- Eileen Fisher via Nordstrom , watch-Wenger(similar here ) Switching things up in this post from #funshortsfriday to #chicshortsfriday with this monotone outfit. Top, shorts, and necklace were all in my most recent tote, and these wedges I got on huge sale earlier this summer.  To be honest, I wore this look just to take these photos. I did also go to the grocery store (masked) afterwards, but I didn't organically wear this as an outfit in my daily life. If this was a normal summer, I would have totally pushed against the office dresscode and worn these suiting shorts and asymmetrical top to work and shocked all of the sartorial purists that think shorts and bare shoulders are inappropriate for the workplace.
