Black & Orange Weekend Uniform

blazer / boots / jeans -Gap, hoodie-J.Crew(similar here ), necklace-House of Harlow(similar here ), hat-Mikkat Market(similar here from Asos ), scarf/bag-Gifted This was my basic uniform this past weekend for a quick trip to Cooperstown, NY . I had three variations of skinnies, blazer, scarf, and booties, which I've decided is definitely going to be my go-to look for this season. I hate to brag (lie!) but I nailed it outfitting wise this trip. I busted out some tweed, some great boots--it all felt very Fall with a capital F, and being in a quaint, small town of upper-NY-state with the changing leaves the outfits and setting really came together with the season, it's the ultimate rush. Here are some of pics from Instagram My blazers, boots, and fedoras in the motel closet. Besides the baseball hall of fame , we also checked out the Ommegang Brewery , Nicolettas , DoubleDay Cafe , and stayed at the Mochican Mote l  . I...

Sunburn & Polka Dots

So yeah, girl got some sun over the holiday weekend. This burn comes courtesy of Pirates vs. Nationals at PNC Park on Sunday. Pirates lost but, hey summer is here and I need to restock on the sunscreen.  blouse-Anthropologie(sort of similar here ), pants-J.Crew Factory(fun pair here ), loafers-DSW(similar here ), ring- Le Tote This blouse is so much fun, perfect for a bright summer day. (I know it's not officially summer, but once I get a sunburn and have a hot dog at a baseball game that makes it full-on summer in my book.) The fact that this top has so many great colors means it can coordinate with several pairs in my bright cropped trouser collection. Also the tie front and ruffled collar are enough that a necklace isn't really necessary--my watch, a chunky ring, and these bright loafers are accessories enough to complete this outfit.

Baseball Outfit

hat-Banana Republic(similar here ), dress-BCBG(similar here ), bag/shoes-Zara(similar here  and here ) , necklace-gifted Shots were taken at PNC Park last Friday.  We were able to snag tickets to the Cambria Club!!! The Cambria Club was fairly swank, but this being a baseball game I wanted to keep it casual. This black t-shirt dress did the trick. I kept it fairly basic with accessories. I'm so loving my new bag and shoes from Zara they will most likely be making several appearances on the blog in the coming weeks.  On a side note: for some sports teams it's hard to dress in team colors, but thankfully for Pittsburgh all our teams are black and gold, which makes it easier to show team spirit and look chic.
