Outfits Not Just Clothes

  shirt- Amazon , shorts- Target , sunnies- DIFF Eyewear , necklace- Benevolence LA , bag-Coach(similar here ), slides-Old Navy(similar here ) I've been a huge of flamingos for many summers, as see here  years ago. I originally got this shirt for my husband so we could have a family flamingo moment, but I couldn't resist "borrowing from the boys" and tying this black and pink shirt up for a masculine, yet retro feeling outfit. If you look at the detail pics of the necklace and collar, you'll see pink cocktails with the flamingos, making this the prefect shirt for some outdoor day drinking!

And with this novelty pattern I have ANOTHER variation (see here , here , and here ) for "Putting A Bird On It"!  Regardless of prints, I've been rocking both of these pieces separately for most of the summer. The drawstring shorts have been a sartorial God-send as they are an easy throw-on piece with personality, while this striped tunic also has an easy, wear-with-anything appeal. Together they make a fun, yet functional summer-cash outfit. Granted, these loafers and the handbag have more of a "work wear" vibe, but girlfriend needed a purse on this occasion, and the color story of both items nicely sets of the grays of the top and shorts.  What are some of your favorite prints to mix? 

I've recently discovered a new online store and blog  WILDFANG  that features tees, shirts, pants, and outerwear for us Tomboys with style! So obvie I'm over-the-moon for this brand and gobbling up their Ultimate Jogger Fit Guide among other posts and browsing their wares. I'm currently awaiting the arrival of my first order: Tee Pant That t-shirt says it all, right? Now it turns out, the pants I ordered above were out of stock in my size, so I got a very nice email from Samala with apologies and options (I LOVE options) to A) get the pants in a size up or down from the one I originally ordered, B) pick another item on the site of equal or lesser value, or C) drop the pants from my order and get a refund. I choose B and asked for these babies to be shipped!  Shorts Flamingo-print drawstring shorts, sign me up please! These shorts are on sale, and may not be available, and if so I asked for a different size in the pants above. Waiting to hear back ...
