Outfits Not Just Clothes

It has recently come to my attention that Banana Republic's Factory Store now has online shopping! I've always been a big fan of outlets and factory stores, especially when I can make a day of it at the nearby Tanger Outlets with girlfriends and a shopping agenda. But, let's face it, I usually can only make that day happen once or twice a year, so online shopping is a welcome alternative. I've been utilizing that option for J.Crew's Factory Store for years now.  True the outlet/factory store versions of these brands do NOT carry identical pieces form the main brand, but they still reflect the overall essence/aesthetic of each store. Plus, the quality is pretty on par with the brand's main line. shirt- Lauren Ralph , "vest"/trousers- Banana Republic Factory Store , collar- Jewel Mint , heels-Forever21(sort of similar here ) I picked up these trousers and "vest" last fall at the Tanger Outlet's Banana. I felt the tone of the trousers played into the oxblood trend, and even though you can't see it, the waistband of these pants matches the navy of the vest, so it's a no-brainer to pair them together.  I've worn this "vest" just as a top, but let's face it sleeveless is not an option yet.  So I decided to give it a go as a vest, and I'm quite pleased with the result. You may recall my vest post here .  There's enough structure in the material to work as a vest and it acts much like a blazer in topping off a look without extra bulk.
