Style Uniform Maternity Version

blazer-J.Crew(similar here ), blouse-Anthropoloige(similar here ), pants- Gap Maternity , necklace-Gifted(more options here via Bauble Bar ), flats-Dr. Scholls(similar here ), rings-Jewel Mint(more options here via Poshmark ) I got this novelty-print button-down for my return to work after having my last baby. And it's still going strong while I'm cooking up my current baby. Overall this OOTD is another iteration of my style uniform--trousers, blazer, printed shirt. Which just goes to show, you don't have to sacrifice your personal style when you're expecting. You just have to reconfigure a few pieces here and there to keep your outfitting game rolling!  Also, I'm loving how the raindrop print pops against this bright yellow background, don't you?!

Versatile Outerwear

I'm going out on a limb here to softly declare that #springhassprung (fingers crossed) and with it another season of transitional outfitting. Early-to-mid Spring aka Sprinter, is much like Mid-to-Late Fall when you have a mix of chilly mornings and warmish afternoons. When the day can be bright and sunny, or grey and rainy. it can be a challenge to find a functional yet still stylish outfit. That's where a good and versatile outerwear game becomes essential... coat-H&M(similar here ), cardigan-Zara(fun option here ), tunic- ModCloth , leggings-Old Navy Maternity(similar here ), boots-DSW(similar here ), necklace-Bauble Bar(similarish here ) For this OOTD I layered a drape-collared long cardi under a plaid overcoat for an unexpected take on outerwear. The cardigan provides some great options for the neckline, as well as a bit of extra warmth when the wind picks up. The tunic, leggings, and boots combo has been my standard casual unifor...

Dressing Up a Plaid Shirt

shirt- Gap , dress-Uniqlo(similar here ), belt-Banana Republic Factory Store(more belts here ), boots-Kelly & Kate via DSW(similar here ), necklace-Gifted(similar here from Bauble Bar)   Yes, I did feature this same plaid shirt in yesterday's post . For this OOTD I've dressed it up by layering it under a swinging shift dress! Boots, a belt and necklace complete this autumnal work-wear outfit.

Hipster Witch

fedora-Mikkat Market(similar here from Asos ), cardigan-Nordstrom(similar here ), "dress"-ModCloth(similarish here ), leggings- Old Navy , boots-DSW, neckalce-Gifted(similar here from Bauble Bar ) I don't often wear a hats, but when I do, I like to build the outfit around them. For this Halloween OOTD my black fedora is giving off all sorts of modern-day-witch-realness, quite appro no? The menswear cardigan adds to the Gothic vibe, while keeping things warm and cozy. The necklace gives us some glam, while the knit "slip" as dress and leggings complete this outfit.  So, start with the hat, then work your way down!

Layered in Stripes

vest-J.Crew(similar here ), tunic- Gap , leggings- Old Navy , boots-Zara(similar here ), necklace-Bauble Bar(similar here ) In my last post I was wrapped up in stripes. For this OOTD I'm laying a striped vest over a striped tunic for a perfect autumn outfit. Also great for fall are these legging pants and chelsea boots! Be on the look out for both in future posts!
