A Romantic Wintry Mix

Another flat layout for these wintry days. ❆🀩 sweater- Summer & Sage via Le Tote , skirt-Uniqlo(similar here ), necklace- chloe + isabel , flats- Dr. Scholl's This sweater is the epitome of dark winter romance with the flecked ombre effect giving me dirty snowfall realness.  I'm not too crazy about the collarbone cutouts, but you can't deny overall it pairs beautifully with this square-cut crystal necklace and black circle skirt.  And yes, before you ask, this skirt DOES have pockets! I may be a romantic, but I still want functionality.

Yes, More Stripes

dress- Summer & Sage , necklace- Clement , bracelet- Noir Luxe all of the above via Le Tote , flats- Shoe Mint , watch-Michael Kors(similar here ), ring-French Connection(similar here ) Apparently I'm on a stripes kick, as seen in these posts here , here , and here . But hey, there's nothing wrong with having a theme and running with it! I really love black n' white as a crisp summer option and the red zipper detail gives this shift a fun pop of color. I'm not quite done with stripes just yet, so check back for more stripe-riffic outfitting!

Weekend Uniform Part II

tee- Summer & Safe via Le Tote , shorts-J.Crew(similar here ), loafers-Old Navy(similarish here ), necklace-Need Supply(similar here ), bracelet/ring- Jewel Mint This is an EXTREMELY SIMILAR outfit from yesterday's post .  It's not the end of the world to wear the same type of look in different variations two days in a row. Some would call that having a "style" or "uniform", and having a "uniform" in mind, especially for a busy weekend of errands, events, and to-do's is one less thing to think about. I'm also loving the color combo here of pink n' green. Also also, this rope necklace has a kind of nautical vibe, which plays into the whole summer fun feeling of this outfit.  Check back tomorrow for even MORE stripes, I kid you not!

Checks, Stripes, & Sea Creatures

"shirt"- LA Made via Le Tote , pants- Skies Are Blue , blazer-Anthropologie(similar here ), loafers- Zara , necklace-Gifted from Lucky Feather , bracelet-Summer & Sage via Le Tote This striped "shirt" is actually a knit dress that I've masterfully tucked, and I've masterfully mixed patterns in this outfit. Together these pull-on pants and casual knit embody pajama chic, which is a great look for early summer. The blazer pulls everything together and keeps it from being too sloppy. Casual and easy is fine, but sloppy, not so much.

Tomboy Bomber

jacket- The Fifth Label , tee- Style Mint , jeggings- Joe Fresh , wedges- Shoe Mint , clutch- Banana Republic , necklace/bracelet- Le Tote Here's the clutch from yesterday's post in action! I paired it with the floral bomber jacket, last seen here . Keeping in mind the message on the bag I went with a tee n' jeans combo. The jewelry was from my latest Le Tote   and these wedges fit into the color palette. True a strappy wedge heel isn't really "tomboy," but part of tomboy revelry is rebellion, so there!

A Very Functional Outfit

sweatshirt- Summer & Sage via Le Tote , shirt/jeans-Gap(similar here and here ), bag-Thrifted, sneakers- Converse , bracelet- Michael Kors , rings- Jewel Mint , necklace- Martin & Osa Yes, this IS a very functional outfit, worn for a day with A LOT of walking. Mr. Keller, some friends, and I participated in the 1st annual (here's hoping) South Side Church Crawl yesterday. It was a great afternoon filled with beautiful buildings, artwork, cultural traditions, and baked goods!  We walked from 28th St. to 7th and back again, so these sneakers came very much in handy.  One may argue that this ensemble borders on "just clothes" and I can somewhat see that point. However, the details of the collared shirt, the unzipped sides (which create a different type of silhouette), the name brand bracelet, and the intentionally disheveled necklace are subtle elements that still strike a cord and elevate this look into an outfit. Which goes to show t...
