All In the Details

This was taken before my haircut on Tuesday. All those wispy wisps are gone now... jacket / sneakers -Old Navy, sweatshirt- Gap , jeans- Zara , bag- Giani Bernini (gifted), watch- Nixon via Urban Outfitters , necklace-- chloe + isabel c/o Angela B ., sunnies-Cookie Lee(more here ) So yeah, sweatshirt, jeans, sneakers this is all very basic, very normcore. But, the necklace, watch, sunnies, and bag elevate this into a simple, chic Saturday afternoon outfit. This retro glam square cut necklace from the collab I did with Angela B ( here , here , here ) has become a very handy go-to piece for adding a bit of chic to a variety of looks. It's not rocket science, but a pretty well known fact that accessories can make all the difference. On a sidenote we're starting to really like shooting in alleyways, Tuesday's post here .  What do you think?

A Sportswear/80's Moment

I wasn't quite sold on these closeups, but Mr. Keller made a good case that the light in interesting. I just wish I knew what to do with my face...  sweatshirt- Peter Pilotto for Target (available here ), leggings-Zara(similar here ), blazer-Banana Republic(similar here ), kicks-Old Navy(similar here ), necklace / bracelet - Le Tote , ring- Jewel Mint , nails- Rimmel , sunnies-Forever 21(similar here ) Okay so I'm definitely having an 80's moment with this blazer. It's slouchy on purpose and giving off that Annie-Lennox-circa-The-Eurythmics/David-Byrne-circa-Talking-Heads type vibe, at least in my opinion. I kept the 80's going with these leggings, which bring in the sportswear trend that is everywhere this fall. I kept up the sportswear theme with this graphic sweatshirt(another big trend right now) and these sneakers. The jewelry adds a feminine touch and keeps it from being too sloppy.
