Not Too Dotty

This necklace if giving me some Louis Vuitton realness, no?  car coat- J.Jill , shirt-Old Navy(similar here ), pants-Loft(similar here ), necklace- Le Tote , flats- Dr. Scholls , sunnies-Target(similar here ) I'm not a mega-fan of polka dots, but it's a pattern I do enjoy (seen here , here , and here ). With this OOTD I'm doubling down on the dots pairing a shirt and pants in contrasting scales of the classic polka print. What keeps this look from being too dotty is the shared black and white palette of both pieces, and the overall outfit being tempered by my go-to coatigan.  All in all, I think this midweek office outfit is just dotty enough!  On a luxurious side-note: this delicate necklace is giving off some major Louis Vuitton essence!

Cardigan like A Crocus

cardi- Le Tote , T-shirt- Wild Card (more tees here ), pants-Loft(similar here ), loafers-Zara(similar here ), bracelet-Gifted(similar here ) Last week I slowly starting introducing some florals to my early spring outfitting, then bam(!) temparature drops and I'm back in black n' whites because winter weather is still holding strong. Of course, the white background to this striped cardigan does bring a sense of freshness, just like the tender white crocus peaking through the dirt. Can you even handle the poetry of it all!!!! 💮🖎😆 Adding to the poetic flair is the graphic tee and polka dot pants for a chic androgynous ensemble, perfect for just another day at the office.

Gymnasium Straight Ahead

Cosmetics via Birchbox   The title of this post may trick you into thinking an Athleisure OOTD is in store. Sorry, no it's just a shout out to the back ground sign. But, don't get me wrong, I'm making no apologies for this chic AF outfit. At first glance this look is fairly minimal--a blazer, a knit, pants, and loafers. But, the subtle mixing of menswear-inspired footwear and outerwear, with playful trousers, and a curve-enhancing sweater make for some dynamic office apparel.

In Praise of Buffalo Plaid

sweater- Rag & Bone via Nordstrom (similar here ), shirt-Gap(similar here ), trousers-Loft(similar here ), loafers-Zara(similar here ), necklace-Macy's(similar here ), sunnies- Target   Buffalo Plaid is one of my all-time favorite prints. It makes for a great holiday outfit that works all winter long. I like to bust out my buffalo around Thanksgiving to get as much use out of it as I can. For this OOTD I paired a buffalo plaid button-down with polka dot trousers and a shawl-collared menswear cardigan. Argyle socks add in another pattern for good measure, and black loafers play into the androgynous vibe. I'm also loving the bit of red berry branches in the background of these pics, Christmas is coming!!!!
