Floral Culottes

shirt-J.Crew(similarish here ), culottes-Target(similar here ), necklace-Jewel Mint(similar here via Poshmark ), loafers-G.H.Bass(similar here ) Yes, the basic brick is not the most exciting back drop for this vibrant summertime OOTD, but on these hot and sticky days we're just jumping out to grab some quick pics on the way home. Of course that shouldn't deter from these amaze floral culottes! You may recall them from past summers  here and here  where I layered button-downs, sweaters, and blazers for office appropriate looks. Now in August I'm just trying to stave off sweat while keeping the color story rolling in this teal sleeveless blouse and coral loafers.

Horses & Plaid!!!

coat/ pants -H&M(more coats here ) , shirt-Asos(similar here ), loafers- G.H.Bass , necklace-Banana Republic(similar here ) This is OOTD is fall outfitting firing on my style cylinders!!! We've got layers, plaid, we've got a horse print, loafers, argyle socks, and a slouchy shirt tuck! Plus the brown-earth tone color story, supported by an olive and brown backdrop is giving me all things autumn-realness! Yes, there are a lot of exclamation points for a standard shirt, pants, shoes, & coat, but the print-mixing, androgynous attitude, seasonal appropriateness, and how great I felt wearing this ensemble justify the punctuation.  The hair is another story, I'm choosing not to see it. 😉

Some Deep Thoughts for One Pretty Dress

dress- Gap , loafers- G. H. Bass , necklace- Le Tote , ring-Jewel Mint(similar here via Poshmark ) I've been a fan of wrap dresses for quite some time, as seen here , here , and here , and I've tended to gravitate toward graphic, or animal prints styling them with a bit of edge. The petite floral pattern on this wrap dress leans more into traditional feminine territory. When I started blogging my outfitting was heavy on the tomboy/androgynous end of the style spectrum, but with growing out my hair and being all-the-way pregnant I've leaned into a more feminine aesthetic. Going for more pretty than edgy looks. Part of me misses the days of cropped hair and bowties , but life changes, people change, and style changes. Not that I'm all miss lady-like crumpets and cardigans now, but I find myself exploring and finding my own interpretation of standard womanly fashion, at least for the time being. Also, this wrap is a non-mate...

Moody Autumnal Horses

cardi-J.Crew(similar here ), shirt-Asos(similar here ), shorts- Anthropologie (similarish here from Zara ), tights-Target, loafers- G.H. Bass , necklace--Gifted(similar here from J.Crew Factory ) The post title for this OOTD says it all, amirght?! We've got some dark-damp-leaf-fallen-fall-fashion-realness with this cradi and shorts combo. The novelty print horse shirt brings in an equastrian vibe (another autumnal note) while the tights and loafers speak to good old school uniform days. SO MUCH AUTUMN!!!!! Can you stand it? I'm barely hanging on. 😊🍁🍂😍
