Black & Navy Flowers thru Windowpanes

 On a warmish day here recently, I had some fun with a eclectic outfit for the daycare pickup run.  coatigan- Nordstrom Rack , sweater-Mango(similar here ), pants-Uniqlo(similar here ), combat boots-Nordstrom(similar here ), ring- Skelton Jewelry , lips- MAC nail- tenoverten I've never been one to shy away from an eclectic OOTD, as seen here and here . For this outfit I layered a cropped sweater top under a coatigan as a mid-layer then shed my overcoat for a few quick pics on the way to daycare pickup. These pull-on flannel pants are such a fun take on winter loungewear. The print suggests a more springtime vibe, but the dark colors and fabric are right in line with winterwear. The combat boots, dark lip, and darker nail give the overall look a bit of edge, while the ring is a subtle accessory, no need for any other jewelry. Was this a bit much for a school run? Do the teachers, kids, and other parents even notice?  Am I wearing elevated clown pants? Should I have stood...

Turtleneck Tuesday Loungewear

 For this week's #turtlenecktuesday I've layered a beige turtleneck under a matching knit lounge set and glammed it up with some jewelry.   turtleneck- Uniqlo , matching set- Soel Boutique , necklace- Benevolence LA , rings- Mejuri , bracelet- BaYou with Love , boots- LandsEnd I discovered Soel Boutique in the flesh on a trip to Utah back in the spring of 2019 (which seems like decades ago) and regretted not purchasing a jumpsuit I tried on while in the store. Since then I've been keeping an eye out on a potential purchase, and finally ordered this textured knit matching set. Does it make for the most chic or glamourous OOTD? No, but it's comfy as can be without being straight-up PJs and has layering potential as you can see with this turtleneck, plus I love mixing neutrals like beige and grey. As I'm still working from home and staying close to home in general, I decided to zhuzh up this loungewear look with some gold jewelry and makeup. I know in these times of m...

Spring = Culottes

vest-Zara(similar here ), shirt-Woolrich(similar here ), culottes-Everlane(similar here ), necklace/heels-Gifted, lip color- TPSY via Birchbox I love a black culotte for spring! Paired with this open-front vest it creates a very modern and relaxed "suit" which is perfect for work and quite chic. Keeping the laid-back chic train rolling is this blouse with its silk front, and knit sleeves and back. Yes, you read that tag above correctly, this shirt is from Woolrich, which is a brand I've enjoyed rediscovering here as of late. Their higher-end designer partnerships work as a luxurious counter to their standard flannel. Woolrich is definitely going on my fall shopping list come September.  But for now it's May, the flowers are blooming the sun is shining and I'm living for all things culotted and cropped in the outfitting weeks to come!

Last of the Little White Dress

\ dress-Need Supply(similar here ), bag-G.H. Bass Factory Outlet(similar here ), flats- Dr. Scholl's , necklace-Banana Republic(similar here ), bracelet-Michael Kors(more options here ), lip- benefit via Birchbox   For a party last Friday I busted out this LWD one last time before calling it quits for the winter. This frock has been a wonderful addition to my spring and summer wardrobe. It's chic, flattering, has pockets, and is machine-washable, all great features for a party dress! I went with leopard print flats and gold jewelry to polish off this OOTD. And since it looks like autumnal weather is finally upon us here in Pittsburgh, I'm saying farewell white dress, I'll see you next spring!
