Ain't No Fool in This Jumpsuit

This #OOTD is no joke for this first day of April! As excited and hopeful as I was for the start of March, this new month is looking even brighter!!! cardigan- Le Tote , jumpsuit-Donna Morgan via TJMaxx (available her e via Poshmark and something similar from Dillards ), jewelry- Mejuri , sneakers-H&M(similar here ) I last wore this amazing jumpsuit in the fall and featured it here . I kept many of the same elements for this post with the sneakers and color palette, but switched up the cardigan.  I feel there are so many parallels between fall and spring style.  Things like layers, textures, accessories, and the general sense of transition and vibrancy are true of both seasons. Plus, they do share similar weather so it makes sense you'd outfit around that functionality. Speaking of function, while this jumpsuit is chic, it can be a pain to get in and out of, and I've only ever really worn it out once. I'm still working from and staying close to home these days, but I...

Tuxedo Jumpsuit

cardigan-Piperlime(similar here via ThredUp ), jumpsuit- TJMaxx (available here via ThredUp ), sneakers- H&M , ring- Skelton Jewelry God I love a jumpsuit! And a sidestripe, and black n' white, AND contrasting dressy pieces with a sportier fare, and it all came together in this OOTD for a recent brunch at Jasper's Backyard . What can I say, all the pieces of this look (the jumpsuit, the tennis cardi, the sneakers, and jewelry) feel seamless, yet unexpected, and graphic, while being chic if I do say so myself.  And why I wouldn't normally recommend dining out in a jumpsuit, because you know going to the bathroom can be tricky, I felt that the occasion of brunch, a rarity even before covid, deserved something extra special.

Selfie Photos Outfit

tee / pants -Gap, blazer-Anthropologie(similar here ), bracelet- Jewel Mint , bag- TJMaxx , shoes-Asos(sort of, kind of similar here )   As I made mention of here my photographer/husband Mr. Keller has been laid up recovering from knee surgery so here are some selfie photos. Yeah... I'm going to need more practice. Anyway, even though this is a patterned blazer, I think it acts as a neutral when paired with vibrant colors. It has kind of a cooling effect to the bright green pants. The silhouette happening here is one of the most flattering on me.  Mid-rise flared trousers w/ a pointy-toed heel, a V-neckline and a blazer that cinches in a bit makes me appear tall and lean, which is always a good thing. Actually this silhouette works on every body type in general.

Last Warm Day Outfit

sweatshirt dress-Modcloth(similar vibe, but fancier here ), bag- TJMaxx , flats- Old Navy , ring/bracelet- Jewel Mint , sunnies- Ralph Lauren   Yesterday reached a high of 74!!! I have a feeling this will be out last truly warm/hot day of the year. You may recall this horse head sweat shirt dress from last February here . Then I layered it with a button-down shirt, tights and boots. For warming weather it works just as well on its own with flats. There is a lot going on in the dress with the grommets and stitching and such so, its a great piece to just throw on and not over think the accessories while still being an outfit.   Two things: 1) Mr. Keller and I have our costumes all ready for this coming weekend's party (and actual Halloween) 2) Mr. Keller really enjoys taking photos with "no parking" or "restricted" signs in the background. I think its because he likes to think of us as outlaws (this post was his idea)....
