Resort Runway Inspiration

For those of us who follow such things, the Resort, formerly known as Cruise Collections have been showing this past month. I've been browsing through some of the runway/lookbook pics and was quite taken by Ports 1961's showing. If you follow my Outfit Ideas board on Pinterest you may have seem some of the looks I pinned.  Ports 1961   Look 17 was the inspiration for yesterday's office outfit!  culottes-Everlane(similar here ), vest- H&M , blouse-Urban Outfitters(more options here ), loafers-Zara(similar here ), necklace-Etsy(similar here ) Of course, not an exact replica of the Ports 1961 design, but that's the beauty of inspiration--take what works and make it your own. From the above pic I started with culottes and loafers, then thinking about interested tops I picked our this abstract-printed blouse, and used the vest to provide cinching and structure.  Inspiration doesn't just come from the Runway. Resort Cardigan

Yep those are TWO strips of bacon in my Bloody Mary! cardigan-Anthropologie(more options here ), shirt- BB Dakota via Le Tote   joggers- Le Tote , flats- Dr. Scholls , watch-Michael Kors(similar here  and on sale!), bag- Longchamp Last weekend, Mr. Keller and I took a #weekendgetaway to Bedford Springs  for some much needed R & R. These pics with my fantastic bloodie from the lobby bar, are at the gazebo on the far side of the resort. You may recall a past visit featured   here .  Needless to say it's a very special place and this is a very special cardigan! Luxurious, flattering, and fashionable, I mixed these graphic stripes with some boho flair in the lace-trimmed shirt and printed joggers. My comfy black flats and standard Longchamp bag made this the perfect resort outfit!  For more pics from our weekend, follow me on instagram !

The Library They have puzzle tables where guests are free to enjoy jigsaw puzzles in the library. Beyond those doors is the in-door swimming pool, with original tile work from the 1920s Entrance to the Spa The bathroom was amazing! Picked up this scrub and body mist from the spa shop. The linens were so elegant and cozy. This bathrobe is AMAZING, I felt like I was cuddling with Mr. Keller when I wore it. Complimentary walking sticks. My Bedford Resort Outfit. PJs- Ralph Lauren The morning we left I took a dip in the in-door pool and was so relaxed that I just wore clothes for the ride home. I can't begin to tell you how pampered I felt during this trip.  The hotel is amazing, the staff is friendly, and e...
