Coat Vote Results!

Well the votes are in and the "winner" of last month's Coat Vote is.... Trina Turk I'm renting this baby for a night out on the town! Mr. Keller and I have tickets to see T he Head and The Heart on March 1st at the Benedum Center in Pgh's Cultural District. We're making a night of it with dinner at Social House 7 ! My outfitting strategy will be to let the coat be the star and go for an all-black ensemble underneath. BUT, I'll be far from boring with leather black leather trousers and a lacey black top. You've got to mix materials and textures for those monotone looks, or else you'll just be wearing clothes... THE SHAME!  And in other news... I'm off to this year's  AWP conference in Washington DC!!! What to Wear to AWP

Today kicks off AWP's annual conference. AWP stands for the Association of Writers and Writing Programs, check them out here .  This year the conference is in Chicago, a city that I love and that people I love live in, aka. Kayla.  You may recall her style profile here .   Unfortunately, I am not attending due to time/money/work constraints.  However, if I had been attending this number would surely be in my suitcase: From ModCloth Slap on a turtleneck, leggings, and boots and this baby just screams writer.   And would totally stand out at the book fair.  I was also thinking this dress could be a component of playing around with the layered skirt idea from this post .  With the aid of this slip: ModCloth It would all depend on how much lace at the bottom shows and if the hem of both the dress and slip work to look intentional and not as if my slip were just "showing".  I think this slip and its version in ivory w...
