The Last of This Summer's Stripes

 As summer is coming to a close I have one more strip-loving look to share with you all. You may recall the sweater from this post . Well here it is again, AND shot in the same location. Same sweater, same spot, different outfit!  If you look closely you may notice that most of my nails have a French-tip thanks to Ohora . The index finger stick-on didn't make it through the day, but the rest of may nails stayed nice for a whole week. No, of course not! And even those these stripes aren't tone-on-tone matching, it still works because of the contrasting proportions of each stripe pattern. Rainy Days & Poetic Ways

It's gotten chilly and wet here in Pittsburgh. I love this jacket for rainy days. Not only, does it have a functional hood, and is easy to throw on, but the pattern/texture mimics the city's grey sky, getting the poet in me going.  Each morning is getting to be more of an outfitting challenge with this baby bump and now my feet are swelling, hence shoes are not fitting. Shoes really can, and DO make an outfit. So, I've been styling looks around my flattest and widest shoe options.
