Gift Guide Part 2--Bombas

Last week I highlighted some unique and affordable gift options from Rituals in this post . Today I want to feature a new take on a more traditional gift--SOCKS! Particularly, fun and functional socks instead of the boring ones your Aunt Lucy used to crookedly knit for you each year.  I've recently discovered Bombas !   "Derived from the Latin word for bumblebee. Bees live in a hive and work together to make their world a better place. They're small, but their combined actions have a big impact on the world. We like that. That's why our mantra is bee better. We knit it on the inside of every pair of Bombas as a reminder that you helped someone in need with your purchase. And a reminder that little improvements can add up to make a big difference. Socks are the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters. We started Bombas to make an impact on our community here in the U.S. For every pair you purchase, we donate a pair to someone in need." So, n...

Fox Socks!

blazer-J.Crew(similar here ), shirt-BCBG(similar here ), pants- Uniqlo , loafers- G. H. Bass , necklaces-H&M(similar here ), fox socks-Target(similar here ) A classic fall outfit that errs on the side of androgyny, with a whimsical twist! Once again I'm sporting another pair of the ankle, pull-on pants from Uniqlo . What can I say they serve me well, other pairs seen here , here , and here . I let the checkerboard print of the trousers dictate the rest of this look, hence the red/orange colorblock blouse and standard navy blazer. I brought in some fun with these amazing fox socks. Fox prints are the perfect novelty print for the fall, plus being gender friendly man, woman, boy, and girl can outfit with them.

Robot Socks!

I discovered on a recent trip to Target with a personnel shopping client some amazingly fun socks! Bears! Bicycles! Lightning Bolts Staches! I took the opportunity to clean out my sock drawer and restock with these! Robot Socks! Here's the rub... These are a men's socks. :(  I checked out the women's socks and hosiery both in store and online and these were the most fun pair(s) I could find... Socks... And these aren't that fun in my opinion.  Where are the quirky, funny, ironic socks for the ladies? We want more than stripes and neon leopard print! Come on, Target! I will say that my client was very happy with the simple and affordable outfit we/I put together for him, so there's that. Interested in a personal shopping or closet visit session with me?
