In fact I had a dress with a very similar butterfly pattern back in the 90's and this oversized, menswear-inspired blazer feels like something the "alternative" girl would have worn in a semi-serious romance movie, like Marisa Tomei in Untamed Heart , or Drew Barrymore in anything. The black cardigan, was a functional layer because it's still pretty chilly here. In fact I think this blazer, may actually become my spring "jacket" as it's warm, easy to shrug on and off, and fulfilling my teenage-thrift-store- Christian-Slater fantasies!
