One Great Dress!

blazer-J.Crew(more options here ), dress-Anne Klein (similar here via Macy's ), loafers-Zara(similar here ), necklace-Gift via Lucky Feather , sunnies- Target Last month I styled this midi-drawstring dress with a striped wrap and flats here . For this OOTD I was all about business in a bright blazer and menswear-esque loafers. Overall, this dress has been serving me beyond awesomely (is awesomely a word? It is NOW!). The print is fun and graphic, the silhouette with its adjustable drawstring is super-flattering, and of course the pockets. Plus, I receive a ton of compliments when wearing it. Not compliments on the dress itself, but compliments about how great I look, and how well I'm "wearing" my pregnancy. I think that's the sign of a good garment, when it works so well people notice how great you look, not necessarily a particular piece.

Shirtdress in Action

blazer-Banana Republic(similarish here ), shirtdress- H&M , leggings- Old Navy Maternity , boots-DSW(similar here ), ring-Jewel Mint(similar here from Poshmark ), necklace-Gifted I featured this shirtdress/tunic on a recent buys post  and am loving it! The color, the fit, the pockets(!!!!) all right up my style alley and quite flattering to my bump. This will also serve me well in the fall when I return to work post-baby. Speaking of fall, yes this OOTD is a bit more autumnal than spring-like, what with the tweedy blazer and knee-high boots, but after the snowy spring we've had here in Pittsburgh I'm not feeling pastels and bare legs just yet. Plus, I'm off the sartorial opinion that olive/military green and navy is a chic, year-round color combo, so there you go!

Some Simple Pieces

This necklace is just one long chain and it totes versatile, case in point: three tiers Two strands. Or, you can just wrap it around and around as even layers in the 1st iteration above. This chain, I think, I got at H&M ages ago. One can get something similar for cheap, OR invest in a proper silver chain and keep forever. Either way, it's a solid jewelry option that every gal should have to add to an overall outfit.  The bump is a bit hidden in these profile shots, let's show it off, eh?  Bump-tastic fashion if I do say so myself! dress- Le Tote , jacket /sneakers-Old Navy(more sneakers here ), chain-H&M(more necklaces here ), bag- J.Jill There's nothing mind-blowingly fabulous about this outfit, but it's a simple, cute look. This knit dress provides a some structure, which is great for my bump. Knit pieces, be they dresses, skirts, pants, etc have become an essential part for my pregnan...

A Big Reveal

dress- French Connection via Le Tote (more dresses here ), belt-Gap(more belts here ), necklace-Banana Republic(similarish here ), flats- J.Crew Factory , bracelet- Jewel Mint , watch- Nixon via Urban Outfitters This knit dress, while not exactly a summer staple, was a great piece for work. Chic, comfy, and flattering. I belted it to emphasis my waist and went with gold jewelry to glam it up. But wait, that's not all... let's take a side look at this number... Yep, that's a baby bump! I'm preggers!!!! And now for some obligatory hand on bump poses... I have a bun in the oven, these shots were taken at 17 weeks gestation. I'm due in early December. Things will be taking a thematic turn here on Outfit Just Not Clothes as I head into the uncharted territory of my first pregnancy. So, be on the look out for my adventures in maternity-wear, outfitting around the growing bump, and of course the post-delivery new body that I'll be...
