Jumpsuit Chic

God, I love a good jumpsuit! A good jumpsuit, is one that fits, flatters, is comfortable, and doesn't require dislocating a joint to get out of it to pee in a public restroom. I think this one checks all those boxes, plus it's making me look super chic!  Jumpsuit-- Banana Republic , sunglasses-- DIFF Eyewear , necklace- Ana Luisa , ring- Skelton Jewelry , bag-Crabtree & Evelyn(similar here ), wedges-Eileen Fisher via Nordstrom A very rare random dinner date saw this jumpsuit out on the town. Love how it effortlessly drapes, the low back, and of course pockets! I'm also loving how the straw bag and espadrille braid echo each other to provide some texture. Just a perfect (and chic) summer look!

Midsummer Boho Shift

vest- Old Navy (similar here via Nordstrom Rack ), dress-Wren & Ivory(similar here ), bracelets-Banana Republic(similar here ), ring-Jewel Mint(similar options here via Poshmark ), watch Michael Kors(similar here ), bag- Crabtree & Evelyn Originally I bought this shift from Wren & Ivory as a potential beach coverup for our September vacation, but then I realized there's no need for me to hide this dress the whole summer. The rest of this OOTD came together rather haphazardly. Since this frock does not have pockets, I donned this vest. Then I leaned into the rugged boho vibe that was happening with this straw bag and "Jesus Boot" sandals. Since the tassels were more than enough of a statement, I opted for bracelets instead of one of my usual necklaces. Viola folks, a midsummer weekend look with layers, texture, and unexpected accessories!

Goodbye Summer

dress/bracelet- Le Tote , belt- Gap , necklace- Jewel Mint , sandals-Urban Outfitters(similar here ), sunnies-Ralph Lauren(similar here ), bag-Crabtree & Evelyn(something cute here ) I know it is not the official end of summer for a few more weeks, but in my mind Labor Day is summer's death throe. And for the last weekend of summer I was able to sport this maxi-dress Le Tote sent me.  It came with a green sash, but I opted for a braided belt. I really hate sash belts, they don't provide any real structure and can look a bit childish in my opinion. This bag is part of a gift set from Crabtree & Evelyn .  I can't really recall the products from the set, but the tote they came in has been a handy spring/summer accessory.  And now I must turn my attention to Autumn and the outfitting opportunities it provides.  What fall trends do you plan on tackling in the coming months?
