Fair Isle Holiday Style

coatigan-Saks off Fifth(similar here ), scarf-J.Crew Factory(similar here ), Henley- Gap , skirt- Uniqlo , boots-Zara(similar here ) In this post I was all about the comfy coziness of Hygge for outfitting this holiday season. And while this black, white, & grey ensemble isn't oozing with festive flair, the fair isle-esque coatigan, circle midi-skirt, and graphic infinity scarf are feeling the season just a bit. The belt and boots give it some polish for a comfortable end-of-the-year office outfit. I only have this week left to work until the New Year!! Also, I got my hair chopped off--😮💇😁

Slice, Slice Baby

cardi-Anthropologie(more options here ), T-shirt / sunnies -Target, scarf-J.Crew Factory(more scarves here ), maternity jeans- Gap , boots- Sam Edelman via Nordstrom I have a special place in my heart for ironic/graphic T-shirts over baby bumps. You may recall this punning number from this post during my last pregnancy. And speaking of puns, did anyone else catch my use of the word "heart" and the fact that the graphic above is heart-shaped?! 😜 Anyone...anyone? Anyway, this black n' white casual ensemble is both fun and functional with it's array of pockets and layers, that came in quite handy over this past chilly weekend. And speaking of layers, this tee is actually a tank, with a henley from the Gap underneath for a bit more insulation and coverage.

And So It Begins... Holiday Dressing!

And while this skirt, doesn't scream "Xmas" by any means, its library motif and rich/dark colors definitely speak to a comfy/cozy, yet polished aesthetic of the season. That's quite a tall order for a skirt, eh?  I topped it off with a studious cardigan--another great, yet subtle piece for holiday outfitting. Also, hello evergreen background, just another nod to the season for this OOTD! Check back later this week for Part 2 of my Gift Guide. See Part 1 here .
