Stripes & Leopard Print

Another post in front(ish) of a river. This time the Allegheny with PNC Park in the background. Shooting downtown always yields striking pics. This is what I wore for the Mae Martin show The Possum at the Byham Theatre last week.  cardi / earrings --Amazon, turtle shell-Gap(more turtles here ), pants- Uniqlo , sunnies- Diff Eyewear , necklace-Slide Jewels(similar here ), bracelet / ring -Ana Luisa, tote- Handsome Podcast , sneaker-Cole Haan(more options here ) These pants are part of  "matching set" featured here . I love the idea of olive green with graphic black and white stripes, just feels so fresh, but easy. These leopard print sneakers stand out, while also being seamlessly part of the outfit.  My tote is from the Handsome Podcast which Mae is one of the co-host, but even if we weren't attending the show, I think the bag still works no matter the destination of the look.

Yee Haw Witch

The recent rain has brought a cold front and crisp fall weather to Pittsburgh and I'm here for it. You can see the start of changing foliage in the background and this striped orange sweater is the perfect knit as October hits her stride!  sweater-Anthropologie(similar  here ,  here , and  here ), pants- Nordstrom , tee-Etsy(similar here ), sneakers- Cole Haan , matching necklace & bracelet- Slide Jewelry , necklace & ring-Ana Luisa(similar here  and here )   Yes, this outfit has a surprise layer with this Halloween-themed tee that really represents my mood for this time of year. Paired with these leopard print sneakers and of course this statement sweater and neutral trouser you've got a perfectly autumnal outfit with a bit of kitsch. I'm here for most things kitsch and all things witch in this fall season! The matching green/gold necklace and bracelet set is part of a promotional box I received from Slide Jewelry . Trending: Leopard Print

For this spring I've seen numerous articles and lists signaling that leopard print is trending again. As I'm sure you know, so much of fashion is cyclical and styles like animal prints, high-waisted pants, sheer dresses, etc. come in and out of fashion. For this go-round of animal prints I've been seeing a lot of va-va-va-voom styling, here's my more modest approach.  trench-Asos(more options here ), cardigan-Banana Republic(more options here ), shirt- J.Crew ,(more options here , here , and here via Poshmark ) pants- Everlane , loafers-Anne Klein(similar here ), sunnies- Diff Eyewear , earrings- Amazon , bracelet- Bayou With Love , rings- Nordstrom & Mejuri(more options here ) I've had this printed button-down from J.Crew for almost a decade and I've worn it under a sweater with matching cropped trousers as seen in this post . Under another matching sweater and trouser set in this post . With trouser shorts and a blazer from this post . And in countless ...
