Outfits Not Just Clothes

 Debating on whether this was a #turtlenecktuesday post, or just a great sweater/style inspiration post... In my last post I pointed out how pinstripes are a great way to get a bit of print into and otherwise solid outfit.  But really any strip will work to create a bit more visual interest from the standard, shirt, pants, sweater combo.  Sneakers are...

Snow, and Ice, and Freezing Temps Oh MY! It's been winter with a capital "W" here this week, and with the frigid weather comes dull and dry skin, but don't worry I'm all geared up to keep my skin healthy here in the dead of winter. Check out some of my recent beauty buys and long-time favorites!   I've always been a fan of trying new beauty products, especially from under-the-radar brands, hello Aztec Healing Clay!  from Amazon I first heard about this product back in November via The Zoe Report and read that after the first application it can cause major breakouts, so I waited for my holiday break to give it a go. I haven't experienced breakouts, but I have noticed a definite improvement to the clarity and tone of my skin. This comes as a powder, which you can mix with water or apple cider vinegar to create the "clay". Then apply for 10-15 minutes and wait for it to harden. Here's the original pic: The Zoe Report I pretty much nailed, right?! Beyond the street style inspo, the killer part of this outfit is the white dress. It works for fall with the right shoes and topper. Knee-high boots are a fall-fashion staple, and the somber tone of this olive blazer brings this breezy number(last seen here ) into the season.  Also my hair is pretty awesome! 💇

Beyond the background, I styled this bunny tunic(last seen here ) with "checkerboard" pieces in a silhouette inspired by this post from The Zoe Report . I'm really loving the idea of extending my culotte outfitting into fall and winter with tall boots. And, of course I'm loving the print-mixing of this look.
