Weather, amiright? One day it's sweltering, then it's raining buckets, the next gloomy, chilly, and also humid... This tank top speaks perfectly to the state of my mind... tank top- Tee Public , shorts- Nordstrom Rack , necklace- Ana Luisa , ring- Skelton Jewelry , shoes-- Native Shoes In these dog days of summer, I'm just trying to survive. I've had this tank since last summer, when the sentiments of it were beyond appropriate. I bought this in support of one of my favorite podcasts " You're Wrong About ".  This mantra is still seeing me through the ongoing challenges of working from home, preparing to go BACK into my office come September, parenting, spousing, modern womaning, all of it! Yes, this is just pull-on shorts and a tank, but the tie dye and humor (and jewelry) make this more of a "look" if not an outfit.

Body Talk

shirt-Wildfang(similar here ), leggings- Old Navy , sneakers- Converse , sunnies-Target(similar here ) I'm want to talk about my body. It's been through A LOT in the past few years, what we having two children and the biological and weight fluctuations that go along with all of that. I'm amazed at what my body has accomplished, but at the same time I'm also disgusted by the state it's in. I'm not in great shape, both physically, and in terms of my sense of self. I know there is no return to how things used to be, pre-babies, but I haven't found the new version of myself that feels right. I want to be body positive and love myself, but the current state of this body does not match with how I perceive myself. I know, it all sounds very vague and existential, but this heady stuff is wrapped up in a physical form that feels disconnected. This disconnection is front and center with this OOTD. A androgynous-style shirt paired with mate...

Casual Stripes

cardigan/pants-J.Crew Factory(similar here and here ), shirt-Style Mint(similar here from Poshmark ), necklace- Need Supply , sneakers- Converse It's all about stripes and proportion in this OOTD. Layered a menswear-inspired cardi over a stripes t-shirt dress paired with cropped khakis for a laid-back, but put together look! Love these kicks!

A Bit of Spring with White Jeans

jeans- Martin & Osa (similar here ), vest-J.Crew(similar here ), shirt-Gap Men's(similar here ), necklace- Jewel Mint , watch-Wegner(similar here ), sneakers- Converse So yep, these are white, motorcross jeans that I got on super sale several years ago when Martin & Osa was going out of business. I figured I'd get plenty of wear out of them come summer. Between purchase and summer I lost like 10 lbs(!!!!) and they were too big, but I didn't want to get rid of them. Now, like seven years later as my body is in transition after having a baby, they fit! And this past weekend's spring-like weather was a perfect opportunity to FINALLY wear them. To counter the edgier motorcross cut of the jeans, I went boy-preppy up top with pinstripes and a gingham men's shirt. Navy and white is always a fresh and dynamic color combo, no matter the season. And like with black n' white (seen here ) you can have fun with pattern mi...

That's a Big Belly!!!!

I can still see my feet! That's a win for sure!  cardi-J.Crew(similar here ), jeans- Old Navy , shirt- Le Tote Maternity , necklace- Jewel Mint , kicks- Converse , location- Frick Park Yes, I've become quite rotund here these past couple of weeks. From what I can tell I've officially "dropped", which means the baby is getting lower in position with the head down and the feet up. So why not wear a bright red shirt and celebrate this bountiful belly! This was a fairly thrown-together look this past weekend as Mr. Keller and I walked around our new neighborhood. Jeans, sneaks, top, and cardi. The color and stripes really make this look and I love the vintage, 50's-esque androgynous feel of this sweater. Plus pockets are always awesome.   And yes, we moved a few weeks ago, and are just a hop, skip, and jump away from Frick Park in Pittsburgh's Point Breeze neighborhood. So get ready for more natur...
