Outfits Not Just Clothes

 Seems like each year for my birthday I treat myself to some dressing room self care at  Anthropologie trying on random pieces, some of which are just for fun, other's for serious consideration.  How I started... t-shirt- Amazon , jeans- Universal Standard , sneakers- H&M some sale items, more sweatshirts  here  and similar khakis here First off, love this sweatshirt's vintage vibe, plus it's cozy, quirky, and on sale. These khakis serve as a good base, but are interesting in their "off the beaten path" silhouette. Solid casual 'fit.  mock-neck sweater here , and skirt here A bit of autumnal drama in this look. As the dressing room attendant said, "you'd be a fool to pass this up, the colors go great with your hair." I agree, love the green with my red.  Since I am now in my Diane Keaton Style Era, there is a trouser silhouette that's been on my radar. Madewell's the Harlow Pant . I first read about these trousers here back in February but hadn't pulled the trigger on buying. Instead, I've finally gone to the source (Madewell at Ross Park Mall ) to try on IRL...  trousers , sweater , dress --Madewell, t-shirt- For Days , flats- Allbirds The last pic belies my love of blue stripes... But what do we think? I'm not sure the cut of these trousers is all that flattering on me. I'm not loving them, but I am intrigued by them. I like that I can wear them with flats vs the wide-legged pants that require heels if not hemming.  But again, how flattering are these pants? Is this a pass? I do find myself attracted to this silhouette when I see it online, and out in the wild, but I just don't think it serves me, even though it gives high Keaton vibes.  I didn't end up buy any of the pairs I tired, but I did pick up ...
