April Showers Bring May Flower Overalls

On this last day of April I wanted to share this ready-for-the-rain outfit! Wore this on what we starting calling a "Cutey Day" when you go to cute shops, drink cute coffee, buy cute things, have a cute look. We explored one of our favorite neighbors, Lawrenceville and shopped small.  rain jacket--Asos(similar here ), overalls- Cider , shirt-Gap(similar here ), sunnies- Diff Eyewear , earrings-- Amazon , necklace-- Boheme Vendor , boots-Nordstrom(similar here ) I usually wear these overalls in the fall, as seen in this post here . But they are actually kind of ideal for spring, no? Went with a basic top, pop-of-color boots, and black floral jewelry. The polka dot rain coat, was of necessity, but I think it actually works for a fun bit of pattern mixing/contrast.  Check out the shop small/shop local haul over on Instagram here .

Purple Pants Dark Romance

The volume for this year's Halloween was turned up all the way! And now it seems we're ramping right up for Xmas. But there's still some fall to be had and while this look might not immediately bring you autumnal vibes, it does have a bit of a dark romance that fits with the darker days of daylight savings.  blazer-Ines de la Fressange X Uniqlo(similar here ), shirt-Anthropologie(similar here and here ), trousers-Banana Republic(similar here and here ), sunnies-Versace(similar here ), necklace/bracelet- Slide Jewelry   I first featured these pants in this post  styled similarly with a patterned blouse and tailored outerwear. Here, I feel this is a more romantic take, which how can it not be with this velvet blazer. Sadly, Uniqlo is no longer making collections with Ines de la Fressange. But wonderfully Banana Republic Factory is having a HUGE sale check out suiting here .  Also, I'm wearing another necklace and bracelet set from Slide Jewelry. If you would li...

Yee Haw Witch

The recent rain has brought a cold front and crisp fall weather to Pittsburgh and I'm here for it. You can see the start of changing foliage in the background and this striped orange sweater is the perfect knit as October hits her stride!  sweater-Anthropologie(similar  here ,  here , and  here ), pants- Nordstrom , tee-Etsy(similar here ), sneakers- Cole Haan , matching necklace & bracelet- Slide Jewelry , necklace & ring-Ana Luisa(similar here  and here )   Yes, this outfit has a surprise layer with this Halloween-themed tee that really represents my mood for this time of year. Paired with these leopard print sneakers and of course this statement sweater and neutral trouser you've got a perfectly autumnal outfit with a bit of kitsch. I'm here for most things kitsch and all things witch in this fall season! The matching green/gold necklace and bracelet set is part of a promotional box I received from Slide Jewelry .
