Does anyone else remember The Harts? Which I believe is the name of the paper doll family where the mother and daughter dressed alike... I couldn't find any Google Images or references after 5 minutes of copious searching, but trust it was a thing that existed because I distinctly remember playing with the whole paper doll family. My point being, the concept of mommy & daughter matching outfits has been on my style radar for quite some time... Of course these dresses are not exact replicas of each other. Baby girl's striped number comes from Old Navy, while my frock is from Iconic Luxe via Amazon. But both are blue and white, with horizontal stripes in the yoke/bodice, and vertical stripes in the skirt. Here are some additional shots with a different background...
