This knit mini-dress was a great little number for this past weekend's trip to Philadelphia. We stayed in Chestnut Hill with family and I wore this outfit for dinner at Heirloom. I love a fun, funky, and easy dress to pop on for dinners out. Knit/shift dresses especially, are great because they are usually on the comfortable side (very important for sitting and eating) and they aren't too fussy like a special occasion dress can be. Simple elegance is my usual goal for dinner parties whether at some one's house, or out on the town. Plus, this piece was easy to pack and pockets are always a good idea.
This necklace was a gift from my sister-in-law, who we were visiting, so I made sure to bring it along, not just to show her that I wear it, but also because it played off the southwestern-inspired print of the dress. The slip-on sandals were for comfort and the pink straps called to the magenta in the dress. All in all the perfect little dress for a great little getaway!
