I first featured this dress last summer, here. However, the IDEA for it started here with actual purchase posted here! Needless to say the right dress can take awhile to find and when you do it should be wearable for several years. This little shift has been a go-to piece for work ever since it arrived in my wardrobe. I've worn it, not only for summer, but also in colder months layering it with striped, long-sleeve shirts for fall, and a blazer with boots for winter. Now, at six months pregnant it still fits, if a bit snug, and it's still a great throw-on piece that can be accessorized or worn all on its own. For this look I belted it, which I've been doing a lot lately, draped a very ladylike cardi over my shoulders and went for gold jewerly. I think for my next wearing I should play up the edgy aspect of this piece, as seen in the faux-leather trim. Maybe a biker jacket and chelsea boots... That might have to wait for fall 2016 as this baby is getting bigger by the week!
I'll be wearing a lot of "greatest hits" aka dresses that still fit until it's time to transition into full-on maternity wear.
