sweater-Nasty Gal(similar here), top-BB Dakota via Le Tote, pants-Gap, flats-Target(similar here). necklace-Slate & Willow via Rent the Runway
Here's another pairing of Rent the Runway and Le Tote, but in a totally different vein than yesterday's post. I had the option of adding an mystery accessory to my dress rental and they sent this necklace, which is gorgeous. Instead of wearing it with the dress I mixed things up and wore it with an everyday/work outfit to add a bit of glam. The distressed sweater brings in a punk rock element as the post title suggests, while also toning down the girliness of the top, which had a somewhat revealing neckline that I felt was a bit too much cleavage for an average day. It's important to remember that outfits are 360 degrees. The back and sides, are just as important as the front. I really enjoy the impact this look had from the rear view. It not only roughened up the overall aesthetic of the look, but served an unexpected punch!
Also, shooting in an alley is very punk rock indeed!
