I'm a huge fan of mixing prints, and it's pretty much di rigueur for us style-maven bloggers. I kid, but really you can tell a skillful outfitter by her, or his print-mixing ability. These pinstripes being A. a classic pattern, and B. in neutralish shades act as a base, while the top, with the busier print takes the lead. It helps that the shirt is the same color-saturation level as the pants, so as not to appear to jarring with the prints against each other. The cardigan and loafers, being of complementary colors, brings the look home.
Yes these bottoms are VERY similar to the pants in this post, but I feel there's room in my wardrobe for both navy checks and navy pinstripes.
