I've donned this type of outfit dozens of times, it's your standard skinny pants, button-up shirt, blazer, and boots look. One may argue that this is a played out ensemble, but for me it feels fresh because the details keep things interesting. What's not interesting about a cup n' saucer patterned shirt paired with a plaid blazer with the collar flipped for a pop of orange? Right? I've said before that uniforms aren't a bad thing, and make life way more functional as long as they have interesting variations. So, yes this is a standby outfit, but that doesn't mean it doesn't also standout! (You see what I did there with the play off of "standby" and "standout"... you can even go so far as "standoutfit"!!!!)
