Last week I had a brief glimpse at the New York Fashion Week collections and made some predictions here. I've had a few more ganders and here are some looks/designers/trends I'm feeling.
I enjoy everything about this look, especially the kooky glasses, but mostly this sleeveless coat-like dress. It's a statement piece in a neutral shade that can be worn alone or layered over standard basics.
I predicted androgyny would be a theme/trend for Fall '14 and Rag & Bone had an interesting take with some menswear inspired looks.
This collection represented a trend I saw from other designers of high-neck tops and dresses and a very "covered-up" feel in general. What was interesting about Ruffian's take was the strategic use of color, like the purple of these tights. A very translatable technique when going form runway to the real world.
I promise there WILL be an outfit post tomorrow. Mr. Keller and I were away for the weekend with little-to-no picture shooting opportunities.

Completely opposite from the minimalist look above, but does echo menswear inspiration. Two things spring to mind: 1)Hello "Party" Suit! 2)The pattern of the blazer and trouser obviously matches, but also contrasts... very clever!
Throwing you for a loop here, Belstaff is actually apart of London's Fashion week happening right now. I loved EVERY look of this collection. Talk about coat porn. Here's another one for you!

This has more of a vintage feel in the "bowling" shirt, which is a new path to travel on with androgyny/menswear that may be fun to explore come fall.
Here we have another take on menswear with a conservative blazer, topping a pair lounge PJs. Has a very nonchalance attitude, but with polish.
