blazer-J.Crew, dress-Old Navy, jeans-Anthropologie, bag-ModCloth(similar here), necklace-Le Tote, loafers-Dr. Scholls
I've played around with the dress over pants trend here and here. Now, I'm trying it with jeans. These jeans are giving me LIFE. Ordered them in the hopes of having a summer denim option as I'm still in transition size-wise from having the baby. And this pair delivers on all fronts. They fit, are comfortable, and have a fun little flare at the cropped hem, giving them a bit of modern edge. This ribbed t-shirt dress has a bit more heft and structure then you're standard flimsy cotton version, while the blazer, bag, and shoes polish off the overall look. Oh, and plus this Le Tote necklace adds to the whole theme of simple style with "substance," as it is quite heavy, in a good way.
This background is from a mural in The Strip District. Mr. Keller and I went on a morning weekday date to Pamela's for breakfast. Sometimes you need to drop off the baby at daycare and just enjoy breakfast foods together! That's how you make a marriage work my friends--chorizo hash!
