Prabal Gurung for Target

This weekend I have some shopping plans which include doing some major damage on the Target/Prabal Gurung collab! Here is a few looks that I'm hoping to snag.

I love the graphic floral and bold color in this look.

I'm thinking this would be great with leather leggings and the shoes are killah!

A bright button-up and floral short? Yes, please!

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my local Target has a few of these items. But if not, I can hopefully get an idea of my size for this collection and grab up my faves online. I think I need to have those shoes above.

I'm also going thrifting Saturday morning and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for great finds at amazing prices. You may recall my last awesome thrifting score here.

40 Year Old Cottagecore

Rent the Runway to the Rescue

So after the semi-disastrous dress vote from last week I took the stiletto by the heel, aka reserved this Slate & Willow dress from Rent the Runway for the wedding in July. Slate & Willow I had my eye on this as a possible outfit for the Tilda Swinton event I attended last month (fancy I know!) But, ended up going pretty casual since it was just a film screening. An AMAZING screening, but not a dressy affair nonetheless. Anyway, this striped sheath has so many good reviews from a variety of fellow renters in all shapes and sizes, I didn't see one unflattering user pic, so I'm fairly confident this frock will serve my needs come July. Love the tuxedo detail of these cropped pants. coat/pants-Jcrew(similar here and here ), blazer-Zara(similar here ), shirt-Asos(sort of similar here ), shoes-DSW(really cool here ), gloves-Brian Atwood for Neiman Marcus/Target(more gloves here ), sunglasses-Banana Republic(similar here ) I'm feeling very Annie Lennox circa Eurythmics in this outfit, eh? Most times wearing a coat is a necessity, not necessarily an intricate part of the outfit, but here it really makes the look.
