Hello Friends! Since we are in the dark depths of winter, which prohibits good outfitting shooting, I figured instead of struggling to get good pics in waning light, rain, and freezing temps, I'd go back into the archives for another "one dress years apart" post, as I did here.
First up, from a post back in September of 2018
This dress from Target was my way back into workwear after my second baby. These bangs were meant to be a style refresh, again upon returning to work, but in the end, they just became bothersome. Here I'm seeing myself covering up with leggings (most likely as shapewear) and a long cardigan. There's a lot of accessorizing going on with the big belt, necklace, and sunnies. The VANS are pure comfort.
About three years later in this post.
Belted the dress again, but went for more delicate jewelry and coordinated by footwear from Born with this bag from Shiraleah. This feels more fresh, more carefree, not as weighted down. Went back to red and grew out the bangs. I think it takes about a year after having baby to adjust, at least it did for me. I also think a graphic/geometric print like this feels modern, but also timeless. Like I could wear this same dress well into my 40's and 50's, but it also gives off some "cool mom" 80's vibes.
Thanks for reading.
