I love white denim no matter the season, but there's something about this point in spring (in Pennsylvania) where the palette of nature feels so fragile. This white denim jacket really pops against that fragility what with the contrast in the sky, bare trees, bit of green, and weathered stone. Oh so poetic...
You may recall this top from my thrifting post. Here I've paired it with trouser shorts, sheer tights, and the star of this outfit the denim jacket. I'm back and forth on sheer tights, they have a lot of 80's connotations for me, but not in a good way. These shots were taken a few weeks ago, so there's definitely more growth on trees and such as of this posting. But I think no matter the season or the weather you can't go wrong with a black and white look, and if the pieces lean toward the eclectic (the top) and the statement (the jacket) all the better!
