 Yes folks, I am expecting once again! #kellerbaby2018 You may recall the reveal of my 1st pregnancy back in 2015 here. This time I waited a tad longer because it's winter and I've been outfitting with looser silhouettes which don't lend themselves to showcasing the bump. My 1st time around, when it was Spring/Summer I wore more fitted pieces, hence the bump was more obvious. 

 But enough about my uterus business let's turn our attention to this maternity OOTD! First, I want to note my slick layering of a longer-length cardigan UNDER this collared and pocketed knit gilet. This layered combo is an unexpected outerwear alternative and the extended hems are great for a leggings look. Said leggings and striped shirt are maternity pieces, and the flat boots are lined with shearling to keep feet dry and warm because even with temps nearing the 60's it's still winter people!

Rent the Runway to the Rescue

So after the semi-disastrous dress vote from last week I took the stiletto by the heel, aka reserved this Slate & Willow dress from Rent the Runway  for the wedding in July.  Slate & Willow I had my eye on this as a possible outfit for the Tilda Swinton event I attended last month (fancy I know!) But, ended up going pretty casual since it was just a film screening. An AMAZING screening, but not a dressy affair nonetheless.  Anyway, this striped sheath has so many good reviews from a variety of fellow renters in all shapes and sizes, I didn't see one unflattering user pic, so I'm fairly confident this frock will serve my needs come July. Annie Lennox Realness!

Love the tuxedo detail of these cropped pants. coat/pants-Jcrew(similar here and here ), blazer-Zara(similar here ), shirt-Asos(sort of similar here ), shoes-DSW(really cool here ), gloves-Brian Atwood for Neiman Marcus/Target(more gloves here ), sunglasses-Banana Republic(similar here ) I'm feeling very Annie Lennox circa Eurythmics in this outfit, eh? Most times wearing a coat is a necessity, not necessarily an intricate part of the outfit, but here it really makes the look.
