Usually when you hear "velvet" and "tweed" you think of more formal, classic wear, but here it's a casual take in luxe material. True, this outfit is extremely similar to this post, which again, just goes to show, how you can take basic outfitting elements and mix things up for different looks. Last week's striped shirt, blazer, & jeans ensemble was bright and fun, this version is a bit more dark and moody, perfect as we head into Halloween. And, a velvet blazer, whether your pregs or not, it is great piece to add a bit of elegance/romance to a simple denim look.
Also, I FINALLY got a haircut, that was long overdue. My stylist, Kim, at Salon Cercone in Shadyside did me right with this buzzed do'. "I'm not like a regular mom, I'm a cool mom!"
