Mr. Keller and I spent most of Sunday curled up on the couch binge watching the Netflix original series Peaky Blinders and my outfit yesterday felt the effects.
coat-Willow & Clay via Le Tote(similar here), blouse-ModCloth, trousers/shoes-Zara(similar here and here), scarf-J.Crew Factory(similar here), neclace-Sam Edelman via Le Tote, rings-Jewel Mint and ViVI(similar here)
The show is set in post-WW1 Birmingham, England and this duster coat is giving me all kinds of 1919 industrial-chic realness. Proof::
These trousers with their cropped silhouette and tweed-like feel add to the street urchin effect, while also giving an athleisure nod with the side-stripe. Having a mostly androgynous overall look I went with statement/heavy jewelry with this necklace and these rings, which is a shout out to the show's main female character Aunt Polly. She rocks cocktail rings like she invented them! I couldn't find a great pic so just trust. Also, season 2 features several songs from one of my all-time Riot Grrrl faves PJ Harvey!!! So what shows are influencing your style at the moment? Let me know if the comments below!
