The Last Outfit BC

jacket-Piperlime(similar from Asos here ), pants- Gap , tee / socks -Target, loafers-Just Fab(similar here ), scarf- American Apparel , bag-Gifted Those of you who follow me on instagram and Facebook already may know, I had my baby! Yep, I was induced 18 days early, and this outfit was what I wore to the doctor's appointment that preceded the late night/early morning arrival of my daughter, Charlotte Ann Keller. My husband and photographer, Mr. Keller shot this pics on his phone outside the hospital of my OB/GYN's office before a routine-ish appointment. The grey tee and black pants are pretty basic, the details of argyle socks and my dandy-ish loafers, paired with this floral bomber give these basics some flair. In fact, this jacket can really amp up a variety of standard looks without being too over the top. Plus, it's a great "throw-on" piece that layers well. I wore a hoodie underneath it for the trip home from the hospital. So here...

A Painterly Print

Let's all take a mo' to acknowledge how on-point the jewelry, nail polish, and dress pattern are here! I mean seriously, that mix of light blue and navy on all three is working so hard, but in a subtle way, AND it's a fresh, but still appro color combo for fall. Okay, you may resume scrolling down.  dress- Le Tote Maternity , blazer- Ines de la Fressange for Uniqlo (similar here ), boots-DSW(similar here ), leggings- Target , necklace-J.Crew Factory(similar here ), ring- Jewel Mint , mani - Envy Nail Spa As I mentioned above the dress's print, jewelry, and polish are all working like gangbusters in this outfit. The print is only on the front portion of the dress, the back being in a solid black. I think if this was an all overall pattern it would be too much. The black, and my styling it with a black, velvet blazer (last seen here ) and basic black boots keeps the arty edge going strong! When you're wearing loose dresses and flat boot...

Blogger of the Month

Earlier this week I was the featured Blogger of the Month over at  Melodic, Thrifty & Chic !!! Anna and I discovered each other over on  Chictopia and I've been admiring her style for months. She had some VERY nice things to stay about my outfitting skills in this post here !  She also featured some of my favorite looks: Original Post Original Post Original Post Looking at these pics/outfits gosh I miss my body... No joke! I really miss not being pregnant and I miss being able to move, run, jump, wear my clothes, feel good about myself naked. You know I had some body issues pre-baby, but now, looking back I realize I was in GREAT shape! Thanks Anna   for the feature and the reminder of how slamming my bod used to be! This Vest Still Zips!

Yep, at 9 months I can still get this regular-sized medium fleece vest to zip--small victories. I LOVE how well my nails coordinate with this ring that I've had forever. The navy of the ring really pops with this polish, right?  vest- Old Navy , shirt-Old Navy Maternity(similar here ), leggings- Target , boots-DSW(similar/nicer here ), necklace/ring- Jewel Mint , bracelet- Le Tote This outfit is not setting the world on fire, but it's sporty and functional. Plus, this vest (which is like five+ years old) is a great fall, throw-on 3rd piece that takes basic clothes into outfit territory with minimal effort. And I'm all about minimal effort, especially for weekend outfitting, which was when I sported this look for Saturday morning errands. One of the few pros to being pregnant is not having to "recover" from night before. Waking up bright-eyed on Saturday and Sunday mornings ready to get things done IS a pleasant ch...

That's a Big Belly!!!!

I can still see my feet! That's a win for sure!  cardi-J.Crew(similar here ), jeans- Old Navy , shirt- Le Tote Maternity , necklace- Jewel Mint , kicks- Converse , location- Frick Park Yes, I've become quite rotund here these past couple of weeks. From what I can tell I've officially "dropped", which means the baby is getting lower in position with the head down and the feet up. So why not wear a bright red shirt and celebrate this bountiful belly! This was a fairly thrown-together look this past weekend as Mr. Keller and I walked around our new neighborhood. Jeans, sneaks, top, and cardi. The color and stripes really make this look and I love the vintage, 50's-esque androgynous feel of this sweater. Plus pockets are always awesome.   And yes, we moved a few weeks ago, and are just a hop, skip, and jump away from Frick Park in Pittsburgh's Point Breeze neighborhood. So get ready for more natur...
