Chanel's 2015 Spring collection had some amazing looks (as usual with Chanel) and a lot going on in terms of color, pattern, trend, and technique. One element that particularly caught my eye was the use of pinstripes.

These are similar looks I relate to because they have elements that can be deconstructed and interpreted for the real world. The idea of pinstripe shorts with a slouchy white button-down is totes realistic AND a good concept around which to build a seasonal uniform/wardrobe.
Even though pinstripes, (among many other facets seen) are meant for next spring, I think they are just as chic for right now. So I've made a few purchases in order to sport the runway-inspired pinstripe trend.
Paired together this shirt and vest will be really striking and can go office appro with tweedy trousers, or preppy casual with jeans.
These items also got me thinking beyond pinstripes to varying shades of blue/navy so I've picked up this number.
Loving the color, texture, and silhouette of this skirt. This may be a contender for holiday outfitting later on. Looks very celebratory and rich, does it not?
So what trends/colors/patterns are catching you eye lately?
