Mr. Keller and I try to be mindful of backgrounds for outfit pics, but this blue-door duo was a happy accident. We chose this location for pure convenience, we've shot several outfits here before(here and here). Now seeing the pictures those blue doors nicely echo the blue stripes of this blouse, which neither of us were aware while shooting. In terms of the outfit (because let's face it that's why we're all here) I decided not to try to find a matching shade of orange or navy/blue for the bottom half of this look, but instead I just kept adding color. First with these red crops, and then with colorblocked, ankle-strap flats, which in theory sounds like a hot mess, but here it's working. Also, I want to give a shout out to the slouchy shirt-tuck that's going on here, am I right? I hate to be a braggart, but I got mad tucking skills, like defcon level 5 type noise.
