Hearts!

Playing up the heart pattern with a "love" necklace!

This outfit makes me smile. If I had worn it on Valentine's Day I probably would have wanted to punch myself in the face for being so cheesy, but here now, in March with the hint of spring around the corner wearing head-to-toe hearts over the weekend is pure fun! I kept things casual with the denim jacket, which also breaks up the patterns. It was pure luck that this skirt from Le Tote was in the same color family as my blouse. There are a lot of "rules" for wearing/contrasting multiple patterns in one look, I tend to stick to color as my basis for print mixing.  And here, with everything red and blue, I'm obviously pulling it off, if I do say so myself.  Love, B!
