#TotesAmaze

And here's how it looks with the hood up. Yep! That's a hashtag there on the edge. #totesamaze coat-Zara(more coats here ), hoodie/snood-J.Crew(similar here and here ), leggings-Old Navy(similar here ), boots/ gloves -Target(more boots here ), tee- The Platform I've had this tank for a few years, but this is its first appearance on the blog. I enjoy fun/funny graphic tees, as seen here and here . Beyond the tank this look is all about the coat! If you find yourself wearing somewhat "slubby" pieces, i.e. leggings, sweats, tees, plain old jeans, a colorful and structured coat can turn those clothes into an outfit, especially if you're out and about and won't be taking off said coat. On a side note I'm not too crazy about these boots. They're okay, not that great in the snow, so I've decided to upgrade and am waiting the arrival of these boots! Red, White, & And Lots O' Pockets

cardigan/pants-J.Crew Factory(similar here and here ), necklaces- Jewel Mint , sneakers-Dorothy Perkins(similar here ), coat- Columbia Sportswear , hat- Targe t , shirt-Gap(similar here ) This outfit is rocking pockets in the coat, cardi, and pants! I love me some pocket action, especially now that I'm carrying a diaper bag, instead of a handbag, it's great to have pockets for my personal non-baby items like my phone and chap-stick. It was a full-on overcast day when we got these shots and with my coat it's hard to tell how fun this outfit is. With red, wool pull-on pants, a striped "vintage-inspired" cardigan, and wedge sneakers it sounds pretty fun, right?! Also, this long-sleeve shirt underneath is striped so we got in a bit of understated pattern mixing, like in this post from last week.  Now that it's winter with a capital BRRR, you'll be seeing lots of coats, and of course coat repeats. I

Backyard Black n' White

Great mix of pattern here!  dress-Banana Republic(more dresses here ), blazer- Ines de la Fressange for Uniqlo , necklace-gifted(similar here ), heels-Nine West(similar here ), gloves- Target , watch- Wenger I was a big proponent, and fan of wrap dresses during my pregnancy (seen here , and  here ) and they are still great for outfitting post-baby. Every woman, no matter her size, shape, or style should have at least one wrap dress in her wardrobe. They are easy to wear, flattering, and instantly make clothes into an outfit. Got these shots quick in the backyard before heading out for the baby's baptism this past Sunday. I added the blazer for warmth and structure, and with the polka dot lining I was able to introduce another bit of print. With black and white (and any combo of neutrals) you can have fun with pattern/print mixing. It was also fun to dress up a bit in the midst sweats and PJs. I have a little over a month left be

Outfitting With The Stroller

coat-Joe Fresh(similar here ), tunic-Uniqlo(similar here ), loafers- Isaac Mizrahi , necklace- chloe + isabel c/o Angela B , stroller- Chicco Bravo via Babies R' Us This denim shift, with black tights and flat shoes has been a go-to look these past few weeks. It's comfy, cute, and flattering if I do say so myself. Plus, with my Joe Fresh coat I'm all sorts of sneakingly coordinated with my stroller! Hey, if you have to push a baby around you should do so with style, amiright?

More Navy Stripes

cardi-Zara(similar here ), dress-Old Navy(similar here ), boots- Landsend , necklace-Banana Republic(similar here ) We've seen all of these pieces before. This dress I played around with "summer layers" in this post , for the office. Here I've done "fall layers" during the heat wave of December(crazy words, I know!), in a more casual mode. I've been gravitating to navy a lot, post baby, as seen in this post , for two reasons: 1) I have pieces in this color that fit, and 2) even though I do like me some all black ensembles (seen here , here , and here ) navy is a great color for this time of year and is a bit less dreary than head-to-toe black. Plus, it's an effect color, much like black, to help skim over my post-pregnancy curves as my body transitions* into it's next "state".  So, really I guess that's three reasons navy is a great hue at the moment. * I'm trying very hard to have a pos
