Sequin Side-Stripe Shirt

You may recall this cardi in this post. Here I've paired it with plaid trousers and another side-striped button-down similar style seen here. Even though the cardi hides the sequins I know it's there and I love the idea of hidden details! And I'm loving that the stripes in the sweater are almost identical to the trim of the shirt. It's like the shirt's stripe is an upgraded/dressier version of sweater's. Since there was a lot of menswear feel with the cardigan, shirt, and plaid trousers I went for ladylike jewelry with the delicate silver bracelets and fresh-water pearl necklace--gifts from my Mom a classy lady in her own right. These duck boots last seen yesterday have been my go-to shoe during these snowy days. They aren't the most outfitable option, but their functionality can't be beat!
Sidenote: we took these pics at the Frick Fine Arts Building on the University of Pittsburgh campus. Such a great space we've used before when the weather doesn't allow for outside shots, the light is kind.
