Hipster Witch

fedora-Mikkat Market(similar here from Asos ), cardigan-Nordstrom(similar here ), "dress"-ModCloth(similarish here ), leggings- Old Navy , boots-DSW, neckalce-Gifted(similar here from Bauble Bar ) I don't often wear a hats, but when I do, I like to build the outfit around them. For this Halloween OOTD my black fedora is giving off all sorts of modern-day-witch-realness, quite appro no? The menswear cardigan adds to the Gothic vibe, while keeping things warm and cozy. The necklace gives us some glam, while the knit "slip" as dress and leggings complete this outfit.  So, start with the hat, then work your way down!

Checks & Pleats

coatigan- Le Tote , vest/skirt-H&M(similar here and here ), boots-ModCloth(similar here ), scarf- American Apparel   A bit of dark romance to round out these week's worth of OOTD posts. I've been hitting the androgyny aesthetic pretty hard, and awesomely I might add, as seen here , here and here . For this post I went more fem, but still with menswear flair thank's to the vest. I don't often bust out midi-skirts, or skirts in general, and I have to admit I'm not "feeling" this look as much as I was with earlier ensembles this week. I love the mix of checks with orchids, and of course the layering, but I think there's a better way to execute this look. What say you? Play pretend stylist on me?

Mad for Plaid

"suit"-J.Crew Factory(similar blazer here and "matching" culottes from Asos here ), shirt-Gap Menswear(similar here ), boots-Landsend(similar here ) Another fall-fantastic OOTD, this time with ALL of the plaids! Technically, the shirt is a check-print not a plaid, it's also a Men's medium to further play upon the androgynous suiting vibe. Fall is a great time to play with menswear-inspired looks and mixed prints. Technicality, the plaid in the blazer is not an exact match with these cropped trousers, but they work well together to create a "moment". Would I wear them together all the time? No, but in celebration of all this autumn & plaid this is a fun look.

Moody Autumnal Horses

cardi-J.Crew(similar here ), shirt-Asos(similar here ), shorts- Anthropologie (similarish here from Zara ), tights-Target, loafers- G.H. Bass , necklace--Gifted(similar here from J.Crew Factory ) The post title for this OOTD says it all, amirght?! We've got some dark-damp-leaf-fallen-fall-fashion-realness with this cradi and shorts combo. The novelty print horse shirt brings in an equastrian vibe (another autumnal note) while the tights and loafers speak to good old school uniform days. SO MUCH AUTUMN!!!!! Can you stand it? I'm barely hanging on. 😊🍁🍂😍

#Twinning Leopard Print

I've posted coordinated #twinning #OOTDs with my daughter several times over the past few months( here , here , and here ). And as each post has taught me, it's much more difficult to outfit pic with a toddler... our most recent attempt... Not bad, right? But when it came time for close-ups.... Not so much, eh? Even with rubber ducky Little Miss was not having it with outfit pics. So, as any good parent knows, you have to be flexible, hence we abandoned photos. At nap time we got our standard outfit pics: blazer-Zara(similarish here ), shirt-J.Crew(more options here ), shorts- Old Navy , sneakers-Vans(similar here ) Pushing the boundaries of office wear this (warm) autumn in a "short suit." A longer short is key to putting together a suit with separates, like this black pair and linen blazer. The leopard print nicely pulls together the basic pieces and give this outfit some edge. Also, this blazer is SUPER old, well n
