Fun Shorts Friday

bodysuit- Gap (similar here ), shorts- Uniqlo , necklace- J.Crew Factory (similar here ), flats- Allbirds There's been so much attention being paid to the top half of our outfits here in these WFH Zooming days. But, now that spring has sprung right into summer I want to celebrate the bottom half with #funshortsfriday!  And what better way to kick things off then with this surrealist-patterned pair from Uniqlo .  The high waist on these shorts call for a tucked-in top, so I went with this sleek bodysuit. I can also see these shorts working with a slim-fit crop top, or a refined athletic top.  Either way, this OOTD is all about the party on the bottom! Also, I finally figured what to do with my hair, I think it's looking way better than last week's post .

On Wednesday's We Wear Black

top- Gap , pants- Everlane , necklace/ring-Jewel Mint(similar here and here from Poshmark ), bracelet-Gifted(available here ), flats- Dr. Scholl's , sunnies- DIFF Eyewear via Box of Style So yeah, this is my hair at the moment... let's talk about this all-black, chic spring outfit! It's simple and flattering, plus this look is giving me a cool urban vibe without trying too hard. I love a slouchy blank pant, the elasticized waist on this pair makes them relaxed, but not oversized. It strikes a nice balance, when paired with a cinched knit, sleek sunglasses, and leopard flats, of ease and sophistication. I wore this for a virtual HH and some more casual Zoom work meetings, showing off the shoulders again .

Scotch & Soda

sweater- Scotch & Soda via Le Tote , jeans- Levi's , boots-Zara(similar here ), watch-Wenger(more options here ) I am in LOVE with this vintage-esque sweater from Scotch & Soda that came in my recent tote. The details of the ruffled neckline, the ribbing, the retro feel of the stripes, and of course the little heart tag, made this turtleneck knit a must keep. So I did and I've been showing it off on Zoom, and perfecting my virtual meeting hair and makeup.  What do you think? I'm going for the no-makeup makeup look.  Check out some of my tips, tricks, and product recommendations  here !

WFH in Polka Dots

Some more Work From Home selfies for your consideration. shirt- Le Tote , joggers-Uniqlo(similar here ), shoulders- Total Body Training Level 2 Pictured in front of both the upstairs hallway mirror and the downstairs foyer mirror for different angles.  With the warm spell we recently had, I wanted to give my arms a chance to breathe, and this polka dot blouse from Le Tote did the trick nicely. It's also a graphic top, perfect for Zoom and Teams meetings.  Polka dots are a fun pattern that's not overwhelming onscreen.  The tie-front gives a nod to the traditional necktie for a simple shoulder-showing-off work from home outfit. I was very proud of my push-game during my gym class this winter. But now with gyms closed and fitness classes cancelled the days for sharpy shoulders are limited. Don't hate me, but I really miss group workouts, doing burpees in my living room is just not the same.
