It's Time for Color!!!

cardigan-J.Crew Factory(similar here ) shirt- Uniqlo , cropped pants-Target(similar here ), loafers-Sole Society(similar here ), necklace-Gifted via Lucky Feather , watch-Michael Kors(similar here ) Summer is right around the corner and it's time for breezy and bright colors! And nothing says breezy and bright like a pair of floral cropped, wide-leg pants, no? Or, are these more of a culotte..? Either way, they are full of springtime style fun! I decided to lean into the color story here(after days upon days of black n' white looks) by picking out shades in the floral print for the rest of the pieces in this OOTD. I'm especially loving how these silver loafers pick up on the undertones of the leaves in the pattern. Would you expect anything less, I'm a print-mix master!

Not Too Dotty

This necklace if giving me some Louis Vuitton realness, no?  car coat- J.Jill , shirt-Old Navy(similar here ), pants-Loft(similar here ), necklace- Le Tote , flats- Dr. Scholls , sunnies-Target(similar here ) I'm not a mega-fan of polka dots, but it's a pattern I do enjoy (seen here , here , and here ). With this OOTD I'm doubling down on the dots pairing a shirt and pants in contrasting scales of the classic polka print. What keeps this look from being too dotty is the shared black and white palette of both pieces, and the overall outfit being tempered by my go-to coatigan.  All in all, I think this midweek office outfit is just dotty enough!  On a luxurious side-note: this delicate necklace is giving off some major Louis Vuitton essence!

The Future's So Bright...

shirt / ring - Le Tote , pants- Banana Republic , necklace-Gifted, loafers-Zara(similar here ), sunnies-Target(similar here ) This sunglasses-printed button-down is part of a Le Tote's  capsule collection paying homage to the late, great Karl Lagerfeld  who was perpetually sporting sunglasses. I really dig the pale pink background of this shirt and how from a distance it looks like standard polka-dots, but when you get in close you're pleasantly surprised by the novelty print. My go-to black trousers, gold jewelry, and studded loafers completed this OOTD, and of course sunglasses.

Lavender & Red

shirt-Uniqlo(similar here ), pants-J.Crew(similarish here ), flats-Gap(similar here ), lip- Lipstick Queen , via Birchbox Spring is the perfect season to experiment with contrasting color combos, like lavender and red. I love pairing a pastel shade with a brighter color, especially when you have equally polished pieces like this button-down shirt and these cropped trousers. Normally, I'd throw on a blazer to finish this look, but you can argue that these red flats serve as the "third piece" to complete this springtime office-appro outfit.

Spring = Culottes

vest-Zara(similar here ), shirt-Woolrich(similar here ), culottes-Everlane(similar here ), necklace/heels-Gifted, lip color- TPSY via Birchbox I love a black culotte for spring! Paired with this open-front vest it creates a very modern and relaxed "suit" which is perfect for work and quite chic. Keeping the laid-back chic train rolling is this blouse with its silk front, and knit sleeves and back. Yes, you read that tag above correctly, this shirt is from Woolrich, which is a brand I've enjoyed rediscovering here as of late. Their higher-end designer partnerships work as a luxurious counter to their standard flannel. Woolrich is definitely going on my fall shopping list come September.  But for now it's May, the flowers are blooming the sun is shining and I'm living for all things culotted and cropped in the outfitting weeks to come!
