Tweed & Plaid--Fall Is HERE

When conceiving this outfit I hadn't intended on including a bow-tie, in fact I haven't worn one in quite some time. My last tie look was over a year ago here.  However, in the rush of getting ready yesterday morning I couldn't decide on a necklace so I just snatched up this bow-tie and am quite pleased with the overall effect. I'm really digging the way this textured top's neckline frames the tie and acts as a fabric necklace. 

As for the rest, it's offiically autumn and that means plaid and tweed, sure it's bit expected, but it works!  I know, I know, in yesterday's post I said I was going to go all neutral/minimalistic this fall, but you know what? "Do I contradict myself?/Very well then I contradict myself,/(I am large, I contain multitudes.)" Some Walt Whitman there for you!
